Mikao Usui's Five Principles of Reiki

1. Just for today, I will not anger.

2. Just for today, I will not worry.

3. Just for today, I will show gratitude to             every living thing.

4. Just for today, I will make my living                 honestly.

5. Just for today, I will be kind to every living     thing.

Reiki is often referred to as Universal Life Force Energy.

Reiki is an holistic approach to healing by working with the energy flow through the meridians and chakras within the body and the energy of the subtle bodies - the aura. The aim is to remove any energy blocks by stimulating and enhancing the movement of energy through the body system.

Disruption to energy flow can be the result of any imbalance in the body; from a wide variety of life situations that may cause stress and anxiety, blocks in expressing emotions or unconscious suppression of our responses to life challenges.

Reiki is given to the client who can either be on a massage table or sitting in a chair. The Reiki treatment rebalances and realigns the energy through hands both on and off the body according to the chakra system and anywhere else on the body it is indicated.

A Reiki treatment is a gift to the self, for a time to relax, recalibrate and be revitalised.
